Commencing from Barbury Castle Car Park nr Chiseldon, Swindon, Wilts, by kind permission of Swindon Council.
Having been able to acquire access to more of the original route we can now offer a shorter route, via a cutoff. So the distances are roughly 12.5km or 20km.
Hopefully this will make the ride more interesting after a very gloomy season!
The ride will include bridleways, byways over Smeath’s Ridge and Barbury Castle and returning via parts of the Old Ridgeway. The route is in glorious Wiltshire countryside with some stunning views.
Entries will be limited due to parking and because of this we run a first come first served basis, so please get entries in early! Entries will not be taken on the day.
Entries will soon be open via:
Start times and ride map will be given to entrants nearer the time.
